Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be based primarily at our Academic Medical Center, located in beautiful Lebanon, NH.

The Behavior Intervention Team is a multi-disciplinary, proactive psychiatric consultative service that serves patients admitted to the medical and surgical services with psychiatric, substance use and other behavioral needs. The position is conceived as a team leadership role, and includes direct consultation to patients, staff and trainee education, acting as a peer expert, participation in departmental and institutional committees and quality improvement initiatives. Opportunities for research participation and other academic projects are also available, as well as for initiative and leadership in developing services which respond to patient care demands.

  • Must be a RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in NH and successful completion of an approved Psychiatric NP program.
