The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC) is one of only 53 NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and the only one north of Boston and east of Buffalo. DCC is committed to providing access to research-based, high-quality care, advanced technologies, and clinical trials for patients throughout northern New England. Its research, clinical care, and training are integrated at the Cancer Center with priority on translation of innovation, interdisciplinary care, team science, and career development.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at our main campus in Lebanon, NH. This person will function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary clinical oncology group to administer to the needs of patients and families with genitourinary malignancies.

Overview:

  • Assess and manage the healthcare needs of patients within the genitourinary oncology specialty area
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
  • Manage acute toxicities of treatment as well as late effects and survivorship challenges
  • No weekends and no call helps provide a great work/life balance
  • An academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College will be awarded
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research, QI projects, and the APP annual retreat.

Requirements:

  • Clinical expertise and organizational skills
  • Experience in oncology
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

APRN Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
  • Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration

Physician Assistant Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • NCCPA certification.
  • Eligible for PA license in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont.
  • Eligible for federal DEA registration.
