Medical Director of Physiatry
The Department of Medicine and the Section of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene are seeking an experienced physiatrist to join its pain and spine program as its Medical Director of Physiatry. The Department of Medicine is committed to the appointment and support of a highly promising individual who will bring special interest and skill to the practice of inpatient and outpatient multidisciplinary spine care and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Qualifications
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of Medical Director Experience
Responsibilities
- Writing and reviewing of policies, procedures and protocols
- Occurrence report and patient grievance report management
- Quality assessment and quality metric oversight
- Recruiting, credentialing, and onboarding of new providers
- OPPE/FPPE/corrective action plans for providers overseen
- Case reviews and peer reviews as necessary
- Yearly evaluations of medical providers overseen
- Provider scheduling (clinic and call)
- Schedule template optimization
- Budgeting responsibilities together with operations team
- Performance Improvement initiatives
- Regular departmental meetings and attendance at Medical Admin Wednesday meetings as necessary
Required Licensure/Certifications
- BC/BE Physiatry Residency trained; additional fellowship training in pain medicine or interventional spine preferred.
- Interest and expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of people disabled by disease, disorder, or injury
- Must obtain or maintain a NH and VT Medical License
