The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to add a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to the inpatient service for patients on a newly renovated psychiatric care unit in Lebanon, NH. 

In this role, your clinical focus will be the care of patients on a 24-bed adult psychiatry unit as part of an interdisciplinary care team, working together with physicians, nurses, care managers, social workers, and therapy staff. Care will be provided during weekday hours, and no overnight or weekend hours are required. The inpatient unit is an important service for the educational mission of the department, this position will include teaching and supervision of trainees. Additional opportunities for quality improvement, research, and policy work are also available.

The ideal candidate, in addition to having relevant clinical experience, being an enthusiastic teacher, and having strong organizational and multitasking skills are important in this role.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
  • National specialty certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Eligible for RN licensure in the States of NH and VT
  • Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of NH and VT
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
  • BLS certification
