Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced and energetic BC/BE Geriatrician to join our Primary Care practice. APD is dedicated to providing quality medical care to aging adults. We provide patient- and family-centered care that focuses on the well-being of the aging adult. We help patients develop a comprehensive health care plan with emphasis placed on wellness, preventative medicine, and continuity of care.

The candidate will be fully supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators to provide team-based care that is grounded by evidence-based best practices. This practice provides comprehensive care and is deeply rooted in the local community. 

Our Senior Care program offers home visits through our Geriatrics department for patients who have been selected for this service.

APD Lifecare offers supported senior living options—both assisted and independent. Harvest Hill is an independent and assisted living retirement community located here on the APD campus. Also here at APD, The Woodlands offers an independent living community in spacious, luxurious apartments with assistance from a warm and friendly staff.

APD's Emergency Services team has earned Geriatric Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). The accreditation program is part of an effort to improve and standardize emergency care for older patients and includes education, geriatric-focused policies and protocols, and quality improvement.

APD has been providing Primary Care Services to the community for over 40 years. We moved into our new Multi-Specialty Clinic in 2017. Our Multi-Specialty Clinic team delivers personalized care to patients in a convenient, efficient, and welcoming space. All of the outpatient support they need—from doctor visits to labs and imaging to therapies—is under one roof in a building designed around our patients.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Geriatrics
  • Eligible for NH license and DEA
