The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a doctoral level Adult Psychologist to join our collegial and community-centered practice at Hanover Psychiatry in Hanover, NH.  Hanover Psychiatry is a unique faculty psychiatric practice where clinicians provide both brief care and longer term therapeutic connections with the people we serve, utilizing highly effective psychological and psychiatric evaluation and treatment.  We are located on South Main Street, a picturesque location in a quaint New England town, a short walk from the Dartmouth College campus.

In this role, you will provide person-centered outpatient behavioral health care for adults with a wide range of presenting problems, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma reactions, sleep difficulties, substance misuse, interdependent medical and psychiatric conditions, and other mental health challenges. You will provide care for people who span from late adolescence to late adulthood.  You will work closely with a strong team of psychologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists and psychology interns at Hanover Psychiatry, participating in lively case collaboration and presentation.  In this role, you will have the option to work remote a few days.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinical psychologist with strong interest and experience in addressing a variety of behavioral health concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
    • Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
    • Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship from an APPIC accredited program. 

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of NH.
