Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon or Surgical Oncologist with an interest in surgery of the breast to join an established team. Interest in soft tissue surgery is also a bonus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in patient care at DHMC and the Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Board Certification in Surgery and fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology are required. Areas of clinical expertise needed are primarily breast and melanoma.

Departmental (section/division) leadership roles may be available for qualified individuals, depending on level experience. Surgeon-investigators are favored for this position as multiple research opportunities are available in DCC as well as with other collaborators in The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and the Thayer School of Engineering. Dedicated research time/resources are available. The candidate will also be expected to be fully engaged in the teaching of residents and students. An academic appointment via Geisel School of Medicine will be at a rank commensurate with qualifications.
