The Section of Otolaryngology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably with experience or advanced training in Otolaryngology. Working with the Otolaryngology faculty, the Advanced Practice Provider will be involved in primarily head and neck oncology care in the outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, and as needed in the operating room. Responsibilities will include providing care and education to patients with various otolaryngologic conditions in coordination with the attending physicians, performing various procedures in the office setting, assisting with surgical procedures, assisting with inpatient and emergency room consultations, and managing otolaryngology inpatients with the resident team. Experience in office-based procedures (flexible laryngoscopy, nasal endoscopy, otomicroscopy and other ear procedures, biopsies) as well as basic suturing and first assisting skills is desired. This is a full-time day shift position with some flexibility for a four-day work week if desired.

The ideal candidate should have interest in teaching, as educational responsibilities will include the training of PA residents as part of an established Otolaryngology PA residency program. A faculty appointment at the level of Instructor through The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be requested.
